Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as a point of contact for customer account queries.
- Build professional relationships with customers to support timely payments.
- Ensure clear and courteous communication when following up on outstanding invoice
Credit Policy Management
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of customer account documentation.Support the capture and updating of customer master data under supervision.Help ensure adherence to internal credit control policies and procedures.Credit Risk Management
Monitor customer credit limits and flag potential credit risks or held orders.Assist with tracing verifying and matching incoming payments to customer accounts.Support collections activities through follow-ups via email and phone.Analysis & Reporting
Contribute to weekly and monthly account reconciliations.Assist in preparing and distributing customer statementsUpload statements and supporting documents to customer / retail portals.Provide data and administrative support for month-end reporting processes.Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline credit control processes.Provide feedback on recurring issues or inefficiencies in customer accounts.Participate in credit control system testing or upgrades as required.Team Collaboration & Learning
Work closely with the Senior Credit Controllers and broader finance team.Attend training sessions to develop technical and soft skills.Contribute to team meetings and share updates on account statuses.Qualifications :
23 years of experience in credit control or a financial administrative role ideally within the FMCG or retail sector.Excellent accounting knowledge and strong reconciliation and analytic skills.Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Excel.Fluent in English both written and verbal.Driven self-starter with energy and enthusiasm to work efficiently within a team.Relevant diploma or certificate in Finance Accounting or Business Administration.Additional Information :
