Business Development Manager

Job descriptionBachelors Degree or National Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering . Minimum 58 years experience in business development, sales, or account management within the industrial automation, control systems, or electrical distribution industry. Strong understanding of switchgear, instrumentation, PLCs, and process control solutions. Proven track record in achieving sales growth and developing long-term client partnerships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Results-driven with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. Confident and professional with strong technical acumen. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market penetration.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new clients in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, energy, and water.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and report on pipeline activities and business performance.
