We are seeking a Logistics and Transport Management Trainee. This role will focus on developing the practical experience within a supply chain. Some of the tasks involve duties such as coordinating transportation optimizing routes and managing inventory.

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :

• Transportation Coordination : Organizing and overseeing the movement of goods including selecting appropriate modes of transport scheduling deliveries and tracking shipments.
• Route Optimization : Utilizing software and data analysis to find the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation.
• Inventory Management : Monitoring stock levels coordinating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Data Analysis and Reporting : Collecting and analysing data related to logistics operations preparing reports for management and identifying areas for improvement.
• Relationship Management : Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders.
• Problem Solving : Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transportation process such as delays damage or discrepancies.
• Compliance : Ensuring all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
