Responsibilities
- Understand the customer's business and customer requirements, develop strong, trusting relationships with clients.
- Adhere to contractual SLAs and KPIs; ensure compliance with HSE policies and responsibilities.
- Manage tasks not stipulated in the job profile (e.g., audits, adhoc duties due to operational requirements).
- Query management; complete daily system checks to ensure all orders are planned and executed as per customer KPIs.
- Logistics Coordinator duties : monitor the load plan and execution to identify risks and deviations; take necessary action timeously (picking, loading and delivery slots).
- Review and analyse load plan performance to improve operations and FMS SLAs.
- Monitor and report warehouse and transport SLAs; measure and report on on-time delivery and turnaround time.
- Update bookings / re-bookings in relevant systems; support change initiatives and job rotation among team members for flexibility and growth.
- Continuously review data to identify areas of improvement to enhance operation output, load plan, and team deliverables.
- Handle accurate booking and re-booking requests; manage order consolidation; manage queries and escalation.
- Reverse logistics (back door returns & upliftments) monitoring and planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
Tertiary qualification(s) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering (advantage); Matric.Experience in planning, warehouse and transport industry; experience in expediting, planning, scheduling & workload balancing.Experience in a warehousing environment; ability to work night shift (swappable to dayshift when needed).Strong understanding of capacity planning between multiple departments to maximize output with limited resources.Strong planning, organizing, directing, controlling & monitoring skills; strong customer expectation management and compliance with policies, regulations and work instructions.Good interpersonal skills for client account management; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; logical thinker.Ability to lead and manage a team; comfortable presenting and communicating to all management levels.Added advantages for this role
