Community Liaison / Marketing & Communications Manager

Key Outputs / Responsibilities include but not limited to : Responsibility for effective internal and external communication communicates with residents on an ongoing basis via SMS, e-mails, website, hardcopy and telephone produces and promotes the internal magazine "Buzzard" every three months and secures advertisers produces the newsletters for the HOA and the Golf Club on alternate weeks the drafting and proof reading of all communications to Homeowners and the public will be the responsibility of this role communicates all emergency announcements to residents produces and disseminates marketing communication for Golf club functions and events picks up feedback from residents and assess the Vibe provides feedback to management Management of Marketing Events promotes the image and reputation of the HOA and the Golf Club so that they are seen in a positive light arranges various community events on the estate such as Easter Egg hunt, HOA-Golf Day, Christmas Market, fun walk / run, hobby groups (birders, etc), meet & greet, also street braais, etc organises community events sponsored by service providers - average of one per month plans the necessary advertising, sponsorships and PR for the events Provision of a PR function for the HOA and the Golf Club acts as the link person between the HOA, Golf Club and external parties vets all incoming marketing proposals and recommends appropriate action of CEO Arranges publicity for the HOA and the Golf Club Secures sponsorships for events and facilities Arranges charity events (HOA-Golf Day) and corporate social involvement M anagement of the relationships with service providers and estate agents Provides induction and accreditation for estate agents who are authorised to operate on the estate Attends and facilitates the orientation workshops for estate agents monitors their compliance with the terms of their agreement and ensure that no unauthorised agents operate on the estate receives and addresses residents complaints acts on infringements markets events sponsored by service providers and agents Mangement of Kingswood Golf Estate Website Ensures that the content on the website is relevant and udpated obtains sponsorship for the website hosting monitors activity on the website and responds to queries and / or complaints manage content and media on websites Manages new owner interaction and the welcome pack ensure that new owners are welcomed when they move into the estate coordinates the delivery of the welcome pack with the CEO resolves any queries from new Homeowners ensures that the welcome pack is kept updated and relevant Management of the Marketing and Communication budget Operates as the budget holder for the marketing and communications function provides input to the CEO / Financial Manager for inclusion in the Annual Budget approved by the Board Operates within budgeted parameters Ensures that events and functions do not run at a loss
