Job descriptionMinimum 2+ years experience in an accounting practice Strong working knowledge of Caseware or Draftworx Ability to take ownership and deliver from day one – confident and capable without extensive training Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Experience with Xero, Sage Accounting, and QuickBooks Excellent communication and client management skills Remote role – work from anywhere in the Western Cape Exposure to a variety of clients and industries Growth opportunities within a supportive and professional team
Accountant (Remote – Western Cape, South Africa)
Overview
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in a remote role. If you thrive in managing your own portfolio of clients and can hit the ground running, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities
- Managing a list of clients across various industries
- Monthly accounting and reconciliations
- VAT calculations and submissions
- Preparation of management reports
- Compiling annual financial statements
- Liaising directly with clients to provide support and advice
