Systems Integrations Engineering Manager

Public company location : Canonical, Remote (EMEA region). This role is based remotely in the EMEA region.

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in enterprise initiatives across public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. We have a global team with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office-based roles.

The Integrations team aims to integrate all Canonical business systems to ensure data flows reliably to the right place and to automate business processes. We leverage Python and Go with open source tools such as Airbyte and Temporal to enable data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.

What your day will look like

• Lead, mentor, and hire a team of software engineers
• Design and deliver engineering solutions leveraging Go, Python, and open source tools such as Airbyte and Temporal
• Seek improvements to established processes, designs, and engineering solutions
• Partner with business customers to understand their data and integrations needs
