Job descriptionWe are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our new hospital facility at Mediclinic George. We are looking for an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary to join our theatre team. If you are an Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary with demonstrated expertise in an operating theatre environment, we invite you to apply. Your role will involve delivering safe, comprehensive, and high-quality nursing care in alignment with the Scope of Practice. Join us in providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. You will deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice You will deliver safe, basic nursing care according to Scope of Practice Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a therapeutic environment Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted Higher certificate in nursing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific speciality areas 1 year post qualification experience 1 year post qualification experience in a similar role Infection prevention and control Basic Life Support Computer literate (Microsoft Office) Regulations regarding the Scope of Practice for Nurses and Midwives Relevant nursing legislation Scientific nursing process Risk identification Nursing procedures Patient observation skills Medical / Healthcare jobs
