Are you a technically minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships and delivering hands-on support? We’re seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to join our team, working remotely while focusing on the Margate and Amanzimtoti areas.
This role is all about supporting and enabling our installer network – providing technical expertise, training, and on-site assistance – while promoting our full product range. You’ll act as a trusted advisor in the field and a key connection between local market needs and our national technical and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive installer engagement by promoting the product range and encouraging upselling opportunities.
- Provide advanced technical support through site visits, diagnostics, and field-based problem solving.
- Deliver installer training sessions and product demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, feedback, and activities using CRM tools.
- Share valuable insights on market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
Matric (Senior Certificate) – Technical Diploma or N4 in Electrical / Electronic Engineering is an advantage.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical sales or field support, ideally in access automation or electronic security.Excellent troubleshooting ability and strong communication skills.A proactive, self-driven approach with good territory management.A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential - petrol will be compensated.Please note only suitable candidates will be contacted.
