Position Description : Graphic Designer at Sneaker Factory
Location and Status : Parow, Cape Town – Permanent
A creative and exciting position within the Marketing department of Sneaker Factory. As a conceptual yet practical and team-oriented person, you will be responsible for designing and producing all Marketing requirements across the Sneaker Factory brand. This will include print and dynamic digital content to deliver an excellent marketing and customer shopping experience.
The Creative & Graphic Designer lead will provide print artwork execution and digital content for all our digital platforms by performing the following duties :
Responsibilities
- Design various print elements for store campaigns and store communications
- Social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
- Website creative : banners, landing pages, etc.
- Emailers and email banners
- Media Buying creative
- Animation advantageous
Requirements
3 to 5 years previous experience as a Graphic Designer3-Year Qualification in Graphic Design (Essential)Repro knowledgeHigh level of creativity and ability to be innovativeUnderstanding of digital principlesUp to date with key digital and industry-related trendsEfficient use of Apple Mac DTP system, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign is essential; Premier Pro or After Effects & Adobe suiteAdded skills in photography and videographyGreat Art direction, managing of teams and understanding of photography processesSolid understanding of print processes, substrates and reproStrong planning (studio / department) and time management abilitiesAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesResponsible, committed and have an excellent eye for detailHigh integrity and good values; high resilience and emotional maturityExtremely high work ethic – takes responsibility for creative producedHigh sense of accountabilityKnack for good design, great layouts, balanced compositions and able to take creative direction and feedbackExperience in managing photo shoots beneficialExperience in store design beneficialAdditional Notes
