Job descriptionInternal : Accounting teams, Business unit Commercials, global Accounting Service Centres External : Auditors, Banks, Service Providers 3-5+ years relevant experience BCom Accounting, CIMA, or equivalent qualification Excellent working knowledge of SAP and IFRS Ability to analyse processes and improve efficiency Strong drive for self-development and challenging tasks Ability to work in a team and meet reporting deadlines
Hub Accountant
Report to : Operations
Seniority Level : Mid-Career (3 - 5 yrs exp)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Fully qualified BCom Accountant with post grad qualifications
- Stay aligned with IFRS updates and implement changes
- Monitor financial impacts of operations and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders on accounting guidelines
- Approve and release journals for allocated Ledger areas
- Provide monthly accounting governance
- Support timely reporting of Regional company and Branch
- Monitor ledger account reconciliations
- Perform quarterly Balance Sheet reviewsImplement changes to IFRS and local guidelines
- Complete projects on financial process improvements
