People Systems Analyst - 6-month FTC
About the role
We are a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial team where self‑starters have the opportunity to make a significant impact. As a People Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the People Systems Team by enabling business change, articulating requirements, testing new solutions, and continuously improving existing systems, data, and processes.
What you will be doing
- Manage and maintain the Sage People HR system, including data integrity, workflow processes, auditing, and issue resolution
- Act as first‑line support for People Systems queries, including triaging helpdesk tickets
- Provide second‑line support for system‑related queries from the wider business
- Develop and implement workflows that align with business policies and support the entire employee lifecycle
- Conduct end‑to‑end testing of new functionalities across Core HRIS, Talent, Performance, Integrations, Pay Flow, Benefits, and LMS
- Provide system configuration, troubleshooting, and day‑to‑day end‑user support, acting as the primary contact for Sage People queries
- Produce and interpret reports and dashboards for people analytics, ensuring stakeholders have access to actionable, accurate HR data
- Perform regular audits, system updates, and ensure compliance with data policies such as GDPR
- Deliver training and documentation to users on system functionality and self‑service processes
- Work collaboratively with People, IT, Payroll, and external vendors to identify gaps, implement improvements, and support system developments
- Support strategic HR initiatives through the system by providing technical expertise and data insights
What you need to be great in this role
Proven extensive experience in configuring, building, and testing within Sage PeopleStrong data management and reporting skills, including experience building and running analytics and maintaining data qualityUnderstanding of HR workflows, employee lifecycle, and people policiesCollaborative team player with a proactive, can‑do attitudeExcellent stakeholder communication, problem‑solving, and process improvement skillsExperience delivering training or user support on HR systemsStrong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesTechnical skills : familiarity with report‑building tools, Excel, and general system administrationKnowledge of GDPR and HR data compliance requirementsOur values shape everything we do
