Well established firm of attorneys is looking for a Junior Attorney to join their team. Our client is seeking an individual who has recently completed their articles and is due to be admitted or preferably a junior attorney.

Overview of role : Drafting summonses, applications, affidavits, and other legal processesHaving affidavits attestedRegistering on, loading, and effectively utilizing CaseLines and Court Online to keep track of and monitor progress made in matters assignedProfiling and proceeding with legal action against juristic entities and suretiesConducting deceased estate and insolvency searchesCorresponding with liquidators, trustees, and executorsLiaison with correspondent attorneys, the courts, and sheriffsProviding opinions in relation to credit law and changes to legislationResponding to court queriesPreparing reports ahead of meetings with debtorsEnsuring that legal action against debtors is instituted when necessaryAppearing in court when requiredPreparing briefs to counselDrafting templatesDealing with post-judgment accounts, including warrants of execution and bank account attachmentsNote : Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
