The above position is vacant at our Durban Branch.

The overall purpose of this position is to assist the Mechanic and to assist with aircon repairs.

Minimum Requirements : Clear criminal recordExcellent communication skillsComputer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAt least 5 years' experience in technical / maintenance workMust be able to work unsupervisedMust have knowledge of different types of vehiclesMust be familiar with cameras, biometrics, and electrical fencesValid driver's licenseOwn transport is an advantageMust be willing to travel and work extended hours when requiredAuto Electrician experienceJob Specification (not totally inclusive) : Diagnosing electrical issues and vehicle security systemsChecking and replacing the required wiring of the vehicle systemProficient in Auto-Electrician workMust have sound knowledgeCompiling paperwork for each vehicleReplacement of broken keypadsGeneral maintenanceRepairing airconsOther Personality Attributes : Highly motivated and enthusiasticAlertnessPunctualityProblem solverGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressureAble to follow instructions accurately
