Financial Accountant

My client is a multi-entity organization based in Cape Town CBD , and they are looking for a skilled Accountant to take ownership of core financial functions and ensure accurate, insightful financial reporting .

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities.
• Perform variance analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Accounts Receivable & Sales Invoicing
• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer reconciliations and debt follow-up.
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in line with service delivery milestones.
• Foreign Currency Transactions
• Process and reconcile foreign currency payments and transactions.
• Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Revenue & Billing Functions
• Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue accruals.

Job Experience and Skills Required :

Education Bcom Accounting degree minimum

Experience 2 4 years of experience working across multiple entities and multi currency environments
