Job Summary

UPWORK is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Administrative Virtual Assistant to provide exceptional administrative and operational support to clients around the world. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced virtual environment and can handle multiple priorities efficiently. You will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day administrative tasks, coordinating communication, and ensuring that business operations run smoothly. This is a remote opportunity open to qualified candidates globally who are passionate about delivering professional support and building long‑term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and organize emails, calendars, and appointments for clients.

Handle data entry, document preparation, and file management tasks.

Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.

Coordinate meetings, video calls, and follow‑ups across multiple time zones.

Provide customer service support through chat, email, and phone as required.

Conduct online research and compile information to assist business operations.

Manage travel arrangements, expense tracking, and invoice processing.

Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies.

Support project coordination and ensure timely task completion.

Collaborate with team members and clients to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools (Slack, Asana, Trello, etc.).

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.

Strong sense of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.

Customer service‑oriented attitude and proactive problem‑solving skills.

Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Virtual Assistant.

Experience working remotely with international clients is highly preferred.

Background in customer service, project coordination, or office administration is an advantage.

Working Hours

Flexible remote schedule based on client requirements.

Candidates must be available to work across various time zones depending on project assignments.
