Môreson Grondverskuiwers, a leading earthmoving company in the secondary agricultural industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to oversee operational management, client relations, and team leadership in the Robertson and surrounding areas (Western Cape).
The successful candidate is a self-motivated and energetic individual with strong leadership and management skills and knowledge in the correct application of earthmoving machinery in the agricultural industry.
Duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) : Managing and executing ground moving projects, ensuring quality, machine availability, and addressing operational challenges Coordinating machine operators across multiple sites, assigning tasks, and motivating teams Managing client expectations through daily interaction, progress updates, and problem resolution Providing client guidance on soil preparation Identifying and developing new opportunities to expand services and grow the client base Managing budgets, quotations, and maintaining accurate operational records All other tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience : Relevant tertiary qualification; 5-8 years' relevant experience (previous experience with earthmoving equipment in the agricultural industry will be beneficial); Willingness to work in different weather conditions and seasonal hours; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English); Drivers license and own reliable transport.
