Overview
Job Title : Group Reporting Accountant
The Group Reporting Accountant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting within the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves preparing consolidated financial statements for the group, analyzing and interpreting financial data, and providing insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Perform variance analysis of financial results and identify trends
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights for decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as necessary
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure accuracy
Qualifications
CA (SA)3+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in a group reporting roleStrong understanding of GAAP and international accounting standardsProficient in MS Excel and financial consolidation, planning and reporting software, i.e. OneStreamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFinancial services experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
