Technologist Electrical

Heres what you will do :

We are looking to fill the position of an Electrical Technologist to join our electrical engineering unit forming part of a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering team. The company undertakes large capital projects for various clients across many sectors.

The Technologist conducts assignments in the electrical engineering field usually as part of a project team.

Technical Excellence :

• Conducts assignments in the electrical engineering field
• Plans organizes and manages small / medium projects
• Makes recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems
• Prepares and presents technical plans and reports
• Institutes changes in methods designs or equipment
• Under Supervision performs work following the agreed-upon budget and schedule.
• When required collects and analyses information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
• Uses computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems.
• Coordinates with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
• Participates in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Checks and ensures the quality of model production by BIM / CAD teams for accuracy to - design instructions.
• Actively seeks information opportunities to participate and contribute and develops efficiencies and effectiveness.
• Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.
• Assists with the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines.
• Proficient in BIM Software Revit
