Health and Safety Representative (Cape Town)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Health and Safety Representative to join our construction team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Participate in health and safety committee meetings.
• Report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents immediately.
• Assist with incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture among all workers.
• Ensure all workers comply with site safety rules, PPE requirements, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Assist with toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date safety records, checklists, and reports.
