We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Treasury to lead and manage our company's treasury function.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers the opportunity to shape and execute a comprehensive treasury management plan that supports our business goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement policies to manage foreign currency exposure and interest rate risks.Monitor and optimize global cash positions, ensuring liquidity for operational and strategic needs.Design and maintain effective cash flow forecasting tools to optimize group funds.Oversee debt and credit facilities, including negotiating loan agreements and covenants.Drive cash management initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate debt repayments.Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to secure access to essential products and services.Provide detailed reporting and feedback on treasury activities in line with reporting timelines.Lead treasury workstreams to support new product launches.Leadership and Team ManagementFoster a high-performance culture, enabling employee growth, collaboration, and innovation.Create a positive work climate to maximize productivity and engagement.Identify development needs and implement training to ensure team members reach their full potential.Exemplify leadership behaviour, championing organizational values and fostering a culture of continuous learning.Skills and CompetenciesStrong knowledge of treasury systems, processes, and financial markets.Expertise in money transfer procedures, EFTs, and accounting principles.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.Proficient in managing global treasury operations, including foreign currency and interest rate risk.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in treasury operations, with significant experience in a leadership role.Proven track record in managing global financial operations.Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential).Professional financial qualifications (e.g., CA(SA), AMCT, MCT) are highly desirable.
