The Role
As Senior IT Technician you’ll oversee and maintain the group’s technology infrastructure across multiple hospitality properties. You’ll manage servers, networks and operational systems to ensure uptime, data security and smooth functionality for over 200 users. This role blends hands‑on technical expertise with leadership responsibility supporting innovation across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all technology systems including servers, networks, security and software applications
- Lead IT support for core operational systems (VOIP, CCTV, Access Control, Wi‑Fi, Mimecast) and property management systems (Opera Cloud, Simphony POS, MyInventory, ESP Nano)
- Ensure data security, business continuity and system uptime through robust maintenance and backup procedures
- Evaluate and implement new technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and guest experience
- Oversee vendor relationships and service‑level agreements
- Manage hardware inventory, licensing compliance and audit readiness
- Share technical knowledge with staff and provide remote support when required
- Monitor cybersecurity threats and implement protection measures
What We’re Looking For
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in IT supportStrong knowledge of network infrastructure, virtualisation and cloud environmentsProficiency in Microsoft Server, Windows, MacOS, Microsoft 365, Azure AD and firewall managementExperience with backup and recovery systems, endpoint security and virtualised environmentsDriver’s licence and own vehicle essentialIdeally resides within 30 km of Camps BayWhat We Offer
