Core responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates : Calculate the total cost of a project, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
• Analyze project data : Review blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications to identify all costs involved.
• Collaborate with stakeholders : Work with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to gather information and align on project goals and costs.
• Prepare bids : Compile cost data for bids and proposals to help secure new projects.
• Monitor project costs : Track spending during the project lifecycle and identify potential overruns or budget deviations.
• Identify cost savings : Propose and analyze cost-saving alternatives and value engineering ideas to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
• Manage risk : Analyze potential project risks, such as material shortages or delays, and help develop mitigation strategies.
