Job descriptionRecovery of Agent Invoices Arranging payments of local third-party invoices Daily Invoicing of files Direct communication with customers Acknowledge and assist with Customer queries Register files on Cargo Wise and handover to Customs department for entry framing. Once released from customs, arrange collection / delivery with the Transporter. Finalise Billing and send documents to customer. Must have a matric certificate Must have minimum 2 years Clearing and Forwarding experience. Office programmes Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word CargoWise experience
Day to day Operational
- Registering of Air Import or Export Files on Cargo Wise
- Handling of handover over shipments to local agents.
- Tracking & Monitoring of shipments from origin until final delivery to client.
- Booking of collections and deliveries with Transporters
- Liaising with service providers
- Updating notes on Cargo Wise
- Send daily status reports / updates to customers
- Maintaining shipment E-docs on Cargo Wise
- Other general functions associated
