Oversee the development and revision of curricula, ensuring they meet the highest educational standards and are responsive to the evolving needs of the legal profession.
Manage the recruitment, development, and retention of faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Cultivate relationships with alumni, legal professionals, and other stakeholders to enhance opportunities for collaboration, funding, and employment for students.
Represent the Law School within the university and externally in the legal community, enhancing its reputation and visibility.
Monitor and manage the schools budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support its strategic priorities.
Encourage a culture of research and scholarship among faculty and students, securing funding and resources to support their initiatives.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and continuous improvement of educational practices.
Qualifications :
Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree in law, with a strong academic record.
Significant experience in academic leadership, with a demonstrated ability to manage a law school or a substantial academic unit.
Proven track record of teaching excellence and scholarly research in law.
Strong leadership and management skills, capable of inspiring and directing a diverse team of professionals.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
