Senior Software Engineer - Front-End Cape Town (hybrid)

Job Description :

A cutting-edge technology company currently undertaking a digital transformation are looking for a talented senior front-end software engineer, you will focus on designing and developing highly responsive and interactive user interfaces. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our applications while working closely with back-end developers, designers, and other teams to deliver exceptional products.

You will also mentor junior developers, review code, and provide guidance to support their growth. Working together with the Software Engineering Lead, you will ensure that the solution architecture meets the teams exacting standards for maintainability and performance.

Qualification :

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance user interfaces according to companys software engineering standards and aligning these standards to industry standards and best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability while ensuring seamless performance across web, mobile and app platforms.
• Collaborate with UI / UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly designs.
• Conduct thorough testing of front-end components to ensure functionality and responsiveness.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers, devices, and environments.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Product Managers team in developing, testing, and deploying software components.
• Provide second / third line support to IT for software deployed into company eco system.
• Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
• Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLAs are met.
