Chief Compliance Strategist (SA HQ)

As Chief Compliance Strategist, you will be instrumental in establishing Sans Mercantile's AI governance and ensuring strict regulatory alignment across all global financial standards. This includes adherence to SEC, FINRA, and MiFID II regulations, as well as GDPR, ISO / IEC 27001, and Basel III for data security and governance. You will lead the development and implementation of our compliance frameworks, safeguarding our AI-driven financial solutions against regulatory scrutiny and ensuring institutional trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive AI governance frameworks and regulatory compliance strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to global financial standards, including SEC Algorithmic Trading Regulations, MiFID II Automated Trade Oversight, and FINRA AI-Advisory Compliance Mandates.
• Oversee data security and financial governance standards, ensuring compliance with GDPR, ISO / IEC 27001, and Basel III frameworks.
• Lead regulatory compliance audits and ensure the submission of quarterly compliance reports verifying algorithmic trade integrity.
• Advise on expanded liability protections and risk disclosures for AI-trading execution and hedge fund investment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed compliance-by-design principles into all AI models and platform features.
