About The Role
Working in partnership with our client, we are seeking an Integrated Designer based in Durban, KwaZulu‑Natal, South Africa, who will be responsible for creating cohesive design solutions across multiple channels and platforms while building strong relationships with team members. The role involves developing multidisciplinary design principles, user experience, and systems thinking, serving as the creative vision behind integrated campaigns that span digital, print, and social media touchpoints.
Reporting to the Creative Lead / Traffic Manager, you will collaborate with a team of 18 professionals across various disciplines. You'll be supported by the Group Account Director, Account Director / Content Team Lead and Social Media Manager in delivering exceptional creative outcomes that drive business results.
What You Will Be Doing
- Work collaboratively with the team to develop integrated creative solutions that meet brand objectives and resonate with target audiences
- Design creative campaigns across many different media channels so that they all work together cohesively
- Create compelling visual identities, campaigns, and brand communications across digital and traditional platforms
- Facilitate creative collaboration between internal teams
- Contribute to new business development through innovative, creative solutions and presentations
- Manage design projects end‑to‑end with clear communication on creative direction, milestones, and deliverables
- Develop comprehensive brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all client touchpoints
- Serve as the creative liaison throughout project lifecycles, translating client briefs into practical design solutions
- Continuously evaluate design trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative approaches
- Review creative assets and provide quality control to ensure all outputs meet brand standards and objectives
- Ensure creative deliverables align with budget constraints and timeline requirements
- Produce high‑quality digital reports, corporate decks, presentations, and various graphic designs
- Work across integrated marketing campaigns spanning social media, web, print, and experiential channels
What You Need To Be Great In This Role
A minimum of 4 years industry experience with a top‑quality portfolio including brand identity, campaigns, print and digital designStrong background in multidisciplinary design principles, user experience, and systems thinkingProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro) and presentation softwareWell‑versed working across branding / campaigns and web design, with motion / video editing skills.Exceptional creative problem‑solving abilities with strong conceptual thinking skillsExcellent client engagement abilities with proven skills in presenting and defending creative conceptsDemonstrated ability to work across multiple brands simultaneously while maintaining creative consistencyCapability to develop and implement brand guidelines and design systemsStrong typography, layout, and visual communication skills with excellent attention to detailExperience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including strategists, copywriters, and developersComprehensive understanding of digital platforms, social media, and emerging design technologiesExperience integrating with client‑side teams while maintaining high‑quality creative standardsKnowledge of print production processes and digital asset optimisationExperience in the FMCG (Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods) sector preferredReq ID : 14781
