Job descriptionPosition / Task Grade : G16, Department : Electricity Pricing, Business Unit : Finance Head Office, Division : Distribution, Location : Gauteng Sunninghill Megawatt Park, Area of specialization : To provide professional advice on developing and implementing a tariff costing framework to optimise Eskom pricing intelligence regarding cost effective tariffs. Leadership Motivation Self-knowledge Team-player Mentoring Coaching Emotional intelligence Integrity Professionalism Honesty Trustworthiness Cost analysis proficiency Network modelling Digsilent knowledge and experience Technical research exposure Sound perspective of local and international operating environments Good statistical models Problem solving Lateral thinker Analytical Negotiation Communication Attention to detail Super-user in Microsoft (MS) Excel Strong in other MS office suite software Develop and consult on the cost reflective tariff cost allocation approach. Consult on and coordinate the maintenance of the tariffs network and retail cost of supply studies. Consult, execute and report on technical research to develop specific parameters for tariffs cost allocation. Ensure internal governance and regulatory compliance for tariffs cost allocation submissions. Provide consultation to develop and deliver industry competency building programs. B Degree / BTech / Advanced Diploma / National Higher Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Statistics / Commerce at NQF7 with 360 credits 5 years’ experience with detailed costing / financial analysis and / or pricing modelling and analysis. Accounting / Financial Services jobs
