We strive to take care of our providers, so in turn they can take care of the clients!We are looking for two IHT Clinicians (Full or Part Time available) who can provide quality, effective care for youth and their families as we expand to the Worcester area!The IHT Clinician leads the IHT team in creating the treatment plan, providing family therapy, conducting safety planning, and coordinating other services.
The TT&S Worker works closely with the family in implementing strategies as indicated in the treatment plan.
This can include teaching the youth to understand and manage feelings, learning to interact effectively with family members, helping the family to understand how best to support the youth, and making referrals and linkages to services and supports.Responsibilities : Provides family therapy in a home-based setting (outreach)Completes a comprehensive, home-based assessment inclusive of the CANS, focusing on the needs, strengths, culture, current functioning, and history of the youth and familyCreates treatment planning goals in concert with the family and other team membersWorks closely with the IHT Therapeutic Training and Support worker (TT&S) in implementing strategies as indicated in the treatment planProvides safety planning, crisis management, intervention, and support as neededProvides support to youth and families in community-based settings such as schools, hospitals, and mental health clinicsMaintains consistent contact with all team members in order to ensure that all are on the same pageProvides after-hours on-call support on a rotating basisOther duties as assigned by supervisor / managerRequirements : Must have a Master's degree in the human services field (able to diagnose)Must be license eligible or independently licensedMust be MA CANS certified (before start date)Ability to respond to written and verbal communication in a clear, timely, respectful, and effective mannerEngage youth and families in family therapy, assess and diagnose with DSM-5 diagnoses, and be able to educate families and other team members on diagnoses and clinical needs as indicatedMust value and demonstrate the ability to work with individuals of various backgrounds, be able to explore family culture, and lead discussions about cultural differences and how they may impact the workUtilize agency technology in order to complete documentsProficient with Google WorkspaceProven ability to work both independently and as part of a teamMust have reliable transportationApproved CORI checkPreferred Skills & Qualifications : At least one year of experience working with youth with mental health needsKnowledge of mental health diagnoses, community resources, and child / family-serving systemsWork Location : Hybrid (In person / Remote)Direct Supervisor : CBHI SupervisorBenefits : Two Weeks of Vacation annually (FT Employees)One hour of sick time for every 30 hours workedOn-call, Mileage & Overproductivity bonusesComprehensive health benefit packagesProfessional development opportunities12 Company HolidaysHealth, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability
