A global offshore EPCI contractor , known for delivering some of the Middle East’s largest offshore projects, is seeking experienced engineers. To accelerate hiring, their leadership will be in Cape Town this October for face-to-face interviews with shortlisted candidates.
Duties :
- Assist the Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) in preparing offshore project deliverables.
- Attend strategy and kick-off meetings to finalize offshore execution plans.
- Develop construction schedules in line with project milestones and barge availability.
- Conduct techno-commercial analysis to optimize offshore installation costs.
- Review engineering documents / drawings for constructability.
- Prepare work scopes, schedules, and bridging documents for subcontracted works.
- Act as focal point for subcontractor communications and monitor progress.
- Support preparation of purchase requisitions for offshore project materials.
- Coordinate across departments and attend methods meetings for installation procedures.
- Review anchor patterns, installation drawings, and subcontractor invoices.
- Ensure HSE and quality systems are implemented throughout project execution.
- Conduct HSE audits and site tours during offshore operations.
- Participate in project quality audits and lessons-learned documentation.
- Support project close-out by compiling documentation and reports.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Engineering.8+ years’ offshore construction experience.Strong commercial, financial, and contractual awareness.Excellent written and spoken English.Leadership, communication, and multi-discipline coordination skills.Benefits :
