Senior Construction Engineer – UAE

A global offshore EPCI contractor , known for delivering some of the Middle East’s largest offshore projects, is seeking experienced engineers. To accelerate hiring, their leadership will be in Cape Town this October for face-to-face interviews with shortlisted candidates.

Duties :

• Assist the Offshore Construction Manager (OCM) in preparing offshore project deliverables.
• Attend strategy and kick-off meetings to finalize offshore execution plans.
• Develop construction schedules in line with project milestones and barge availability.
• Conduct techno-commercial analysis to optimize offshore installation costs.
• Review engineering documents / drawings for constructability.
• Prepare work scopes, schedules, and bridging documents for subcontracted works.
• Act as focal point for subcontractor communications and monitor progress.
• Support preparation of purchase requisitions for offshore project materials.
• Coordinate across departments and attend methods meetings for installation procedures.
• Review anchor patterns, installation drawings, and subcontractor invoices.
• Ensure HSE and quality systems are implemented throughout project execution.
• Conduct HSE audits and site tours during offshore operations.
• Participate in project quality audits and lessons-learned documentation.
• Support project close-out by compiling documentation and reports.
