Job descriptionBSc / BEng in Chemical Engineering. 10+ years’ gas processing (FEED / EPCI) experience. Strong expertise in Aspen HYSYS, PROMAX, ProTreat. NGL recovery, cryogenics, compression background. Knowledge of PIPESIM, OLGA preferred. Lead Process Engineer (Gas Processing) – UAE
Petroplan, City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
Responsibilities
- Lead FEED and conceptual design for gas processing facilities.
- Review and perform process simulations, heat & mass balances.
- Develop design basis, philosophies, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Guide sizing of equipment, instruments, and process packages.
- Coordinate and review vendor / consultant process studies.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and other safety studies.
- Provide process inputs for technical bid evaluations.
- Review layouts, 3D models, and design reviews.
- Develop operating manuals and commissioning support documents.
- Mentor and supervise process engineers on the project.
