Job Purpose

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IDAM), Cloud SaaS and robust experience in both manual and automated testing across modern software platforms. You will be joining a fast-paced agile team of developers and product specialists to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, security, and performance of systems built on Azure cloud infrastructure using React / Next.js, REST APIs, and secure authentication protocols. This is a hands-on role suited for a detail-oriented, collaborative engineer with a passion for testing secure, scalable, and user-focused applications.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing end-to-end test strategies for web applications and APIs
• Leading frontend testing efforts with React / Next.js, Playwright, JEST, and accessibility tools like Axe
• Performing API testing using Postman and Swagger with JSON validation; automating tests and integrating them into CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML
• Validating performance using K6 or Gatling; and ensuring secure user authentication and session handling using OAuth, SSO, MFA, and RBAC.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, the wider business and consultants and apply knowledge of best practices and standards to the whole of the business. You’ll also champion QA best practices in Agile sprints and work across teams to uphold high standards of UI / UX, security, and reliability.

Essential skills

Preferred (but not required) are relevant testing certifications, experience in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare, and familiarity with Zero Trust security models.
