The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for executing the end-to-end recruitment process to source, attract, interview, select, and onboard top talent efficiently and in full compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The incumbent will be responsible for all verification activities during the recruitment process in order to ensure suitability of the candidates to the position in compliance with company requirements. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers, oversees candidate pipelines, coordinates recruitment activities, and ensures a professional and positive experience for all candidates throughout the hiring journey.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified candidates through targeted job postings and networking.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical skills and cultural fit.
- Communicate with candidates to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Collaborate with managers to understand role requirements and align recruitment efforts.
- Manage job placements and coordinate on-boarding with safety and compliance in mind.
- Stay updated on mining industry trends and labor market conditions.
- Track recruitment metrics to improve hiring efficiency.
- Promote employer branding and build talent pipelines.
- Ensure legal compliance and maintain accurate recruitment records.
Minimum Requirements
Education :
Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or a related field equivalent at NQF 7Experience :
Minimum 3 years’ experience in recruitment and selection up to mid-management levelRelevant experience of structured interviewing and analysis within a heavy industry, mining or production environmentExperience with recruitment software will be an added advantageMust have a high level of computer literacyIf you do not hear from us within four weeks after advert closing date, please regard your application as unsuccessful.
