Key Outputs

  • Lead and drive sales for retail generators and industrial engines across targeted markets.
  • Manage and report on all key sales deliverables, ensuring performance metrics are met and exceeded.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize SAP software to generate accurate reports, track sales performance, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are optimized and stock age is effectively monitored.
  • Analyse and understand income statements and the key drivers impacting business performance.
  • Achieve and manage the required gross profit (GP) targets for both the retail generators and industrial engines portfolios.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment that maximizes productivity and profitability.
  • Demonstrate effective self-management, taking ownership of personal performance and driving results.
  • Qualification, Experience and Competencies

  • Engineering Qualification(Electrical or mechanical Engineer) and a marketing qualification would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in sales management within the generators and engines sector.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance tracking, financial reporting, and inventory management.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies based on market insights.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
