SAP ABAP Lead

Job Description

We are looking for a consultant who would be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of custom SAP solutions using ABAP and related SAP technologies. This role ensures that technical solutions align with business requirements, SAP best practices, and overall system architecture standards. The ABAP Lead provides technical leadership to a team of developers and works closely with functional, integration, and basis teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across SAP S / 4HANA and ECC environments.

Minimum requirement

8–12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including 3+ years in a lead or senior developer role.

Experience and skill

• Hands-on experience in S / 4HANA ABAP on HANA development, including CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA optimization techniques.
• Expertise in SAP interfaces and integration technologies (IDoc, OData, BAPI, RFC, Web Services).
• Solid experience in Enhancement Framework, User Exits, BADIs, and custom module pool programming.
• Proven experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy) and Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) is a strong plus.
• Ability to lead technical teams, manage workloads, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
