Refrigeration Technician

Service / Refrigeration Technician Cape Town (Facilities | Manufacturing / Pharma) Were looking for a qualified, trade-tested Service / Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair critical plant : freeze driers, cooling towers, cold / freezer rooms, ammonia plant, chillers, RO-water and effluent systems. Youll drive preventative & corrective maintenance , complete accurate job cards, participate in cGMP / ISO compliance, and support uptime ( 90% plant availability ) through on-time delivery to internal customers. Requirements Trade-tested refrigeration technician; 35 years refrigeration maintenance (freeze-dry & industrial refrigeration is essential) Solid fault-finding , documentation discipline, MS Office; exposure to GMP / ISO, QMS (CAPAs / Investigations) Willing to do standby / call-outs; strong HSE focus; own reliable transport Nice to have cGMP production environment experience; automation / tablet-based maintenance recording; First Aid / HS Rep / Fire-Fighter training What youll do Execute & record PM / CM, raise ERP requisitions, keep statutory & eQMS records, contribute to cost-savings & problem-solving projects, train contractors on permits / equipment
