Senior HVAC Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician to join the hotels engineering and maintenance team. The successful candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Critical Criteria (Requirements)

• Trade or technical qualification in HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Certification in handling refrigerants and HVAC systems advantageous
• Proven experience in commercial or industrial HVAC systems
• Minimum 5 years experience in HVAC systems, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, preferably in hotels or large commercial facilities
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior technicians
• Must hold a valid South African ID
