Job descriptionCapitec is establishing a Centre of Excellence to provide governance, controls, and supplemental skills for our product teams. We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our cross-functional team dedicated to the full software development lifecycle. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and future requirements. You will also guide and support developers and stakeholders in scoping, progress, status, and resolution of engineering problems. Grade 12 or Equivalent Undergraduate Degree (Preferred) Relevant Salesforce Certifications At least 6 + years of experience in developing Salesforce solutions 6+ years’ proven experience in both front- and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies / language). Experience with modern front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies Experience with Omni Script, Apex, Flow, or Lightning Web Components Salesforce Financial Service Cloud or Services Cloud Analytical Skills Attention to Detail Communications Skills Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills Problem solving skills Planning, organising and coordination skill Is able to apply expert knowledge and develop others understanding of the following : Salesforce Financial Service Cloud Salesforce Services Cloud Salesforce Data Cloud Salesforce Marketing Cloud DevOps and IT systems development processes (SDLC) Application development Advanced programming concepts Advanced algorithms and data structures Design Patterns Version Control Testing practices Database systems and query optimization (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). RESTful API design and integration. Cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Advanced Microservice and event driven architectures Deployment using Kubernetes and containerization Responsive design principles Browser compatibility issues and performance optimisation. Front-end build tools and package managers ICT jobs
