Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12-month contract. If you're sharp with numbers, thrive in a high-performance team, and are ready to make an impact in a fast-paced and evolving business, this is your chance to step into a high-value finance role in a global group.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Perform full month-end close processes and reconciliations to strict deadlines
• Calculate and submit tax and VAT returns
• Process accruals and prepayments
• Manage intercompany and intergroup billing and reconciliations
• Handle monthly foreign exchange revaluations for foreign currency balances
• Prepare statutory, regional, and brand-specific financial reports with commentary
• Run weekly / monthly open item reports and follow up on long-outstanding items
• Assist with audit preparation (quarterly, half-yearly, and annual)
• Draft process notes and assist with documentation of internal control procedures
• Work closely with Treasury, Recons, Statutory, and other accounting teams
• Communicate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and escalate issues timeously
