Senior Specialist : Forex, Hedge Accounting & Cash Flow

• Matric
• BCom graduate, in Accountancy, Investments, Economics, Treasury or business related field
• 8+ years relevant experience, of which at least 5 years working experience in a Banking Treasury environment, specific to forex, hedging strategy and hedge accounting
• Knowledge and understanding of SARB Regulations
• Experience dealing with the SARB & Exchange Control of the local banks
• Ability to establish good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work within a team to achieve goals
• Working knowledge of Accounting principles
• Management accountancy, P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flows. Knowledge of how period end information is used within the organisation drive business decisions
• SOX, IFRS and local GAAP knowledge
• Excellent MS Office knowledge and skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a new environment and work on multiple systems / platforms
• Ability to communicate Forex information with non-finance employees
• Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of FinOps
