Job Description
The primary role of the Project Manager is to manage the end-to-end design and implementation of our Customer Experience and Journey Orchestration programmes for our enterprise clients as part of the inQuba Professional Services team.
You will work closely with the inQuba Account Managers during programme inception to engage with clients to understand their objectives and success criteria. It is then the Project Manager’s responsibility to ensure that the programme is successfully delivered to meet those criteria within the defined timelines.
During implementation you will need to work closely with the leads of the Design, Implementation and Testing teams to manage the delivery process successfully.
This is a hands‑on role where active management is required, which will require a deep understanding of the programmes you are expected to deliver. You will need to think critically about the delivery process, continuously course‑correct to ensure that objectives are met, and proactively guide the delivery teams throughout the process.
Main Responsibilities
The first three months will focus on training, both on‑the‑job training and formal sessions will be used.
The training will focus on delivery methodology, design and configuration where you’ll work through a typical project end‑to‑end and deliver the required project outputs.
In a typical week, the team will define and track their monthly workplans, produce design documents and insights presentations, configure and test the platform, and spend time with clients to understand their context and to review deliverables. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing this process to ensure that it goes smoothly.
Throughout your tenure at inQuba you’ll learn a lot about creating business value, managing diverse stakeholders, and working as a team to produce tangible results. You will have a lot of freedom to plan your day to suit your personal working rhythm, but it’s a high‑intensity environment where delivery to client expectations is paramount.
Desired Profile
We are looking for people who are easy to work with, speak openly and easily, ask a lot of questions, learn quickly, are comfortable with data and technology, can demonstrate systems thinking, take full ownership of their work and can handle delivery pressure. Ultimately, we are looking for Project Managers not Project Coordinators or Administrators. The recruitment process is designed to test all of these.
A typical successful candidate may have the following profile :
