Buyer (Technical)

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BCom in supply chain management or Business Administration (Highly Advantageous)
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle
• MS Office & In house system (Advanced)
• Ability to analyze technical specifications and assess supplier offerings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Sourcing and purchasing materials from reliable suppliers
• Negotiated pricing, terms, and contracts to optimize cost savings while upholding quality standards
• Collaborated with technical and production teams to align material specifications with equipment requirements
• Assessed supplier capabilities and performance to ensure consistent quality and supply
• Stayed updated on industry trends and innovations to support informed procurement decisions
• Managed inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstocking
• Ensured all procurement activities complied with company policies and industry regulations
• Maintained accurate records of purchases, supplier details, and procurement activities, including overseas lead times
• Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing promptly
