Corporate Tax Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Tax Accountant to manage all tax-related activities for our small but growing candy manufacturing business. This role includes preparing and filing local tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, supporting audits, and identifying tax-saving opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate tax and a strong understanding of manufacturing-related deductions and credits.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and file corporate tax returns and related documents

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations

Maintain accurate tax records and documentation

Assist with tax planning and identify cost-saving opportunities

Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries

Collaborate with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance would be advantegeous

CPA or working toward certification preferred

2+ years of corporate tax experience

Familiarity with manufacturing industry a plus

Strong attention to detail and organization
