Junior Software Quality Analyst

Overview

Junior Software Quality Analyst role at BETSoftware. You will participate in analysis and design, development and execution of manual tests, defect management, retesting and regression testing, and reporting to ensure thorough test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and Design : Examine documentation like business requirements and specifications to derive test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach.
• Implementation : Develop manual functional test cases that adhere to internal standards and best practices, and manage them within the test management tool.
• Execution : Execute tests using relevant tools, ensuring methodical and accurate test execution.
• Defect Management : Formally log defects, follow up on their progress, and re-test once addressed.
• Retesting and Regression Testing : Conduct retesting and regression testing to ensure changes do not affect existing functionality; maintain the regression test pack.
• Reporting : Create test progress and completion reports, leveraging automated reporting capabilities where possible.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
