Job Description
Purpose : The purpose of this job is to ensure that all general reception duties are achieved on a daily basis, by ensuring excellent internal and external customer service at the reception desk ensuring customer satisfaction resulting in the promotion of the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Open switchboard and general receptionist dutiesAnswering the telephone, direct all calls to the relevant person / department and taking messagesProvide secretarial supportMaintain an adequate inventory of office suppliesManage the distribution of stuff stationeryRecord all emailed transfers and stock orders in log book for branches and inter-branchMaintain a general filing system for all correspondence (emails, faxes, & quotes)Manage diesel cardsBe aware of Managers and staff who are on lunch, leave, and sick leave and report on schedule sheetManage coffee machine and hand out coffee machine coins to stuffManage notice boardsResolve cash discount queriesCheck price changes and credit slipsFile shop account slips, stock adjustment & staff memo’sType and print out A4 shelf talkersParticipate in perpetual stock takesPerform any work-related tasks as delegated by superiorREQUIREMENTS :
Matric or x3 Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 creditsBrights Induction (service excellence)2 Years minimum experience in a similar roleAbility to handle pressureProblem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively (verbal & written) at all levelsPlanning, time management & organizing skillsExcellent professional work standardsComputer skillsDecision making skillsWilling to take on responsibilityAttention to detail and high level of accuracyProfessional and neatAdministrative / Management jobs
