Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the raw material supervisor daily to verify the quantity of raw materials delivered against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Match supplier invoices to received goods and validate against orders.
• Accurately account for shipping and transport costs based on freight forwarded invoices for every international raw material delivered.
• Record raw materials in Syspro by combining the materially on cost and shipping expenses to ensure accurate landed cost tracking (LCT).
• Highlight and record any duties charged incorrectly on freight forwarder invoices.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications :

Matric

SAP, Pastel or Syspro system

Skills & Attributes :

Physical strength to move tables and machines.

Strong technical aptitude with basic mechanical experience.

Strong numeracy skills and familiarity with measuring tools.

Good attention to detail and learning potential.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Excellent hand-eye coordination.

Self-motivated and a team player.

Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as needed.

Additional Information

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Ottery, Western Cape before starting work.
