Job descriptionB. Com / B-Tech / Honours Degree in Internal Auditing / Finance / Accounting / Management Accounting or other equivalent qualifications. Professional Certification, studying towards the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) may be considered an added advantage. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the internal / external Auditing field; of which, at least four must be on a managerial level. To input in ensuring an adequate and effective development / review and implementation of the Internal Audit Methodology and Risk-Based Plans. To plan and organise activities relating to compliance and operational audits, in line with the approved planned engagement objectives and scope. To lead and control audit activities economically, efficiently and effectively in order to maximise productivity and quality of outputs. To supervise and coordinate staffing issues to ensure an optimal utilisation of available resources and a maximum performance output. To uphold enhancement of staff members knowledge, skills and other competencies through a continuous professional development. To ensure an adequate, efficient and effective general management of the Internal Audit Activity’s assets and other resources. To ensure and maintain prompt, regular, adequate and effective client interaction and communication.
