Overview
Staffwise Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The CSO Medical unit provides emergency medical services to the Cape Town community. We are recruiting an operational medic to coordinate services and join our full‑time medical response team. This is a permanent, shift‑based position.
Responsibilities
- Respond to medical emergency calls during work hours and be available during stand‑by shifts.
- Provide medical services for community events.
- Complete Patient Report Form (PRF) records for each emergency call.
- Assist with medical coverage of functions, exercises and other events.
- Assist with administration duties within the department and office.
- Attend continuous training sessions.
- Work alongside the security unit, including security related tasks.
Qualifications
Matric with a minimum of an ILS qualification.Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate under pressure and during a crisis.Team‑oriented and able to work well under pressure.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Strong planning and organisational skills for coordinating medical response services for communal functions, training sessions and other events.Driver’s license (Code 8, free of infringements) and clean criminal record.Registered with the HPCSA, CPD compliant and up to date with CPG updates.Willingness to work weekends, Shabbat, Yomtavim and public holidays.Knowledge of Jewish life and the Jewish way of life.Application
