The Product Portfolio Manager is ultimately accountable for the management of existing products, technologies and solutions within an allocated portfolio, and to research, develop, direct and drive the segments strategic business objectives to maximize business growth and revenue through product focus and penetration thereby achieving customer satisfaction.
Segment / Product Portfolio Management :
Owns the end-to-end lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from planning and market research to analysis and reporting. Track, measure, and optimize the commercial and operational performance of products. Includes revenue and margin analysis, customer adoption tracking, competitor benchmarking and corrective actions.
Supplier Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and suppliers to secure favourable terms and long-term collaboration. Includes pricing, SLAs, joint marketing initiatives and performance reviews.
Sales Support & Enablement :
Equip and support sales teams with the tools, knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell products. Includes training, demonstrations, forecasting, preparing value propositions and technical advice.
Revenue Growth :
Identify and execute opportunities to increase sales, profitability, and market share. Ensure that the product portfolio budget is achieved. Includes upsell / cross-sell initiatives, promotional campaigns, product repositioning and market expansion.
Procurement & Order Fulfilment Support :
Ensure smooth supply chain operations to meet customer demand efficiently. Includes supplier coordination, inventory monitoring, order fulfilment escalation and logistics alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with internal teams, such as marketing, the service centre and sales, to drive innovation and deliver business objectives.
